Billy
(M)
2 years as of February 2019 (estimated)

Poor Billy was abandoned by his former owners and waited for them for days, hiding under coaches and dodging traffic near a bus stop in Sai Kung, before being picked up and taken to Catherine’s Puppies. Therefore, it’s understandable that he’s now slow to trust people and can come across in a bad light, since he barks at newcomers.
Once he knows you, however, Billy is a very loving boy who bonds deeply and loves human companionship. He also loves to be out and about on walks and would be a perfect hiking buddy.
Ideally, Billy needs an experienced owner who’s comfortable with big dogs and is willing to work on his issues and could visit him multiple times at the shelter. Also, because of his wary nature which can sometimes be aggressive toward strangers we do need him to go to an adult only home.

Generally Billy is fine with the other dogs, but can be a bit snappy, especially with the younger ones, though this may just be because of the crowded environment he's in at the shelter.
