Kato has been at the shelter since he was found as a pup, in rather bad condition, along with his siblings, all of whom have now been adopted. Kato is a shy, quiet boy who tends to avoid the hustle and bustle of the shelter, though he likes to sit on his throne and watch everything!

​

Kato has only ever know the shelter as a home and is extremely shy with newcomers and doesn’t give the best first impression as he tends to bark! He would probably need an owner who’d be happy to come and meet him at the shelter a few times before taking him home, since he does take a while to warm up to people. A quiet home would be best for this shy boy, as he needs time and patients to learn how to be around people.

Kato has been at the shelter so long that it would be wonderful to see him go into a home as being in the shelter environment really does only reinforce his shyness and nervousness around people...
