Roscoe

4 years old as of March 2019

Poor Roscoe is the original Catherine's Puppy, he was one of the first pups brought to the shelter when it first opened and it is heartbreaking that he is still with us.
It’s true that Roscoe doesn’t always give the best first impression; he tends to bark at visitors, but ask anyone who knows him and they’ll tell you he’s a real sweetheart, who loves treats, walks and human companionship. He especially likes having his ears scratched and will press his head into you for more!
Due to his size - he’s a large dog and very strong - he will need someone who has experience with big dogs and who is strong enough to handle him. Anyone considering adopting would definitely be getting a wonderful dog, but also needs to remember that this lovely boy has never had a home of his own and, therefore, may take time to adjust, like most of our dogs.
It also needs to be noted that Roscoe is not suitable to live with another male dog, or puppies, though he may be able to live with a female dog.

We are all hoping that someone is able to give Roscoe the life he deserves very soon.
