About Us...
Catherine's Puppies was founded by Catherine Lumsden in February 2015. Catherine was later voted Sai Kung's 'Person of the Year' in 2018!
At Catherine's Puppies, we are focused on rescuing dogs and providing them with the best possible care until they are homed.
We have a small shelter in Ho Chung, Sai Kung, which is mainly free roaming for the dogs.

We are entirely funded by donations, with no government funding, so your donations are very welcome. We are also very reliant upon our amazing volunteers, so if you'd like to come by and spend time with our dogs and pups, we'd love to have you!

Thinking about Adopting?
If any of our dogs catch your eye and you are considering adopting, message us! If you're in HK we can arrange a visit. Several of our dogs have also been adopted abroad, so even if you're not in HK adoption is still an option...

Unfortunately we currently struggling to raise funds due to Covid-19 and our shelter relies totally on public donations, so your help is very much appreciated.

Unfortunately all our events have been cancelled due to Covid-19 and we have now had to temporarily shut the shelter. However, you can still message about adoption or fostering queries and we will do our best to sort something out.
Buddy Bites!
The founder of Buddy Bites adopted his two dogs, Nacho and Nala, from Catherine's Puppies and is dedicated to helping to feed not just dogs in our shelter, but in shelters throughout Hong Kong.

The premise is simple, you buy a bag of Buddy Bites for your dog at home, and a bag is donated to the shelter! It is a wonderful project and not only is the food great for your dog but it also means that we don't have to worry about the cost of food among all our other expenses...
