Guinness is a lovely dog and has much the same temperament as his sister, Sammie. He is very energetic, affectionate and playful. He loves a cuddle and a good ear scratch and is very loving once he’s acquainted with people.

 

However, his behaviour toward other dogs can sometimes border on aggressive, especially toward puppies and small dogs, which is something potential adopters need to be aware of and handle with care. Because of this we feel Guinness would be best as the only dog, although he does currently share a kennel with two calm, older females - Coco and Miracle - so he may be willing to live with similar natured dogs.

Being in the shelter doesn't bring out the best in dogs like Guinness, who need a lot of mental and physical stimulation, as well as love and training, and we'd love to see Guinness thrive in a home of his own.
