Jade was brought to the shelter as an older pup along with her brother, Jasper, after they were found living on the streets. She is a lovely, gentle, good-natured girl, who, unfortunately, often gets overlooked as she’s a lot quieter and not as pushy as some of the other dogs that look a lot like her. She can be a little cautious of strangers to begin with but once she warms up to people, Jade is very affectionate and easygoing. She loves a cuddle and will sit beside you with her head on your knee waiting for an ear scratch!
Jade has been on a few holiday fosters and they say she's a very well behaved girl in the house (no accidents!), she gets on well with the other dogs, though is reluctant to join in play, and adapted quickly to being in new places. On these fosters she visited the beach, the Peak, the dog park and various other places and had lots of fun! She is a great dog to take on adventures with you, but is equally happy to take it easy and snuggle in bed watching TV.

A very calm, quiet, easy-going, affectionate dog who would make the perfect edition to any family, or an amazing companion dog, she's just waiting for her chance to prove it.
*** Unfortunately Jade recently had an altercation with another dog (no fault of hers). Luckily this didn't lead to any injuries, but since then she has become more quiet than usual and has begun trying to separate herself from the other dogs and is taking longer to grow comfortable with people. It would be great if we could get her into a foster so that she can have some quiet time to get her confidence back, or even better a forever home would be amazing. She really is such a lovely girl.
